Ivy Tech Community College offers career-focused medical assisting training in IN, at its 21 campuses located all around the state. If you enroll for the 33-credit hour training, you can obtain an MA technical certificate in three semesters and if you enroll for the 60-credit hour training, you can obtain an MA associate degree in four semesters. Both programs prepare you for entry level positions in healthcare settings.

*Note: Certificate credits apply toward associate degree and you can also transfer the associate degree credits to selective 4-year institutions.

After completion of core coursework, you will also undergo an 8-week clinical practicum where you can hone your skills in real-world setting. Graduates are eligible to sit for the CMA exam administered by AAMA.
