Stratford University provides a 24-month medical assisting degree program at multiple campuses in Virginia. The program is available on-campus as well as in the online format and the curriculum can be completed by attending just 20 classes with each class taking around 5-10 weeks’ time. To obtain this degree, you need to complete core coursework which includes anatomy, physiology, pharmacology, electrocardiography, med terminology, clinical and clerical procedures, and an MA externship. You also need to complete courses in arts and science, elective and a specialization (optional).
